Boxty House, located in the heart of Temple Bar, is certainly among the hustle and bustle of Dublin City. Over the past 25 years Gallagher’s Boxty House has provided their customers with the best tasting and quality Irish food.
They have just recently launched a Boxty House “brunchy” lunch menu which will make your mouth water. The lunch menu has plenty of options from their famous Boxty pancakes to a choice of stews and sandwiches.
Have a look at their lunch menu below:
Bacon and Eggs Boxty Pancakes
I luckily got a chance to experience their tasty new lunch menu. As I have never had them before, the Boxty pancakes stood out to me. They were even better than what I expected. The pancakes were fluffy and light but seriously filling at the same time. They paired nicely with dry cured bacon, two fried eggs and maple syrup. At just 9 euro you are sure to get your value for money with the size of the portions. I was stuffed half way through but it was too tasty to stop there and I managed to lick the plate clean.
Boxty Bacon Burger
This was another dish from the lunch menu that I had the pleasure of witnessing. At 11 euro the Boxty bacon burger is at a seriously good price. You need to be starving to take on this tasty meal for lunch. It’s jam packed with a fried egg, mache leaves, JJ’s smoked ketchup AND you get a side of crispy chips. The brioche bun was a nice touch to this juicy burger. What’s not to like?
